Questions families ask

Common questions

Where is the house?
In a residential neighborhood in Richmond's West End, close to shopping, doctors and the places residents already know. We share the exact address with families during a tour.
How is this different from an independent living community?
It's one house with five residents instead of a building with hundreds. It costs less than most communities, and it feels like home because it is one.
What happens if my parent's needs change?
Residents can bring in their own home-care agency for extra help. If someone needs more care than a shared home can support, we help the family plan the next step with plenty of notice.
Can we try it before committing?
Yes. We offer paid trial stays of one to two weeks so everyone can be sure it's a good fit.
Does joining the waitlist commit us to anything?
No. The waitlist only holds your place in line. We'll call to talk it through and invite you to see the house.
